You may have concerns about how the recent Coronavirus/Covid-19 situation could affect you and your money.
Credit Union (Whitehaven office) is ‘business as usual’, open Monday – Friday, from 10am until 2pm. However, we do have limited resources, so we may have to reduce access if advised to. Your money is still safe and share withdrawals, deposits, and loan applications will continue as usual.
Unfortunately, we are having to scale back operations at our outreach collection points in order to keep our volunteers safe. This means there will be no collections at Distington, Egremont or Millom until further notice. If you usually use one of these collections points, you can still pay money in to us via standing order or bank transfers. If you need a withdrawal or loan you can contact us via email (info@wedcu.co.uk), and forms can be downloaded on our website – www.wedcu.co.uk
School collections will also be postponed as of 18th March 2020 until further notice.
If you think that you may be struggling with loan repayments due to the Coronavirus situation, then please let us know. We will be as helpful as we can.
